Located in the former Dominican Convent, the Aveiro Cathedral, formerly known as the Church of São Domingos, was built in 1423.
Due to several renovations over the centuries, the cathedral has a varied architecture, where it is possible to see Gothic features as well as those from the Baroque period and Modernism.
